Terms of Use

The game

Sancak (sancak.lol) is an independent browser strategy game. It is free to play and currently has no purchases. Contact: support@sancak.lol.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old (or older, if the law where you live requires it). You sign in with your own Google account and are responsible for what happens on your account.

Play fair and be decent

Do not:

• cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, or interfere with the servers or other players’ games;
• harass, threaten or insult people, or post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content;
• share other people’s personal information, spam, or advertise;
• choose a nickname or village name that is offensive or pretends to be someone else.

If you find a bug that gives an advantage, please tell us instead of using it.

Moderation

We may remove content, rename offensive names, mute chat, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. For serious or repeated abuse this can happen without warning.

Your content

You keep your rights to what you write. By posting chat messages or choosing names you allow us to show them in the game to other players. Chat messages stay visible (anonymously) after you delete your account, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Game items and progress

Resources, troops, heroes, points and other game items have no money value, cannot be sold or exchanged for money, and belong to the game, not to you. The game is in active development: rules, balance and features change. We try hard to keep your progress, but we cannot promise it will never be changed or reset.

Our work and others’

The game, its code and its original art belong to the Sancak project. Some art, sound and software come from other authors under their own licences; they are credited in the game under Credits. Do not copy or reuse the game’s assets outside the game unless their licence allows it.

Availability

We provide the game “as is” and “as available”. It may be down for maintenance or because of problems we cannot control. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost progress or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Ending

You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings › Account. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms, and we may close the game; if we do, we will give notice in the game where we can.

Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell players in the game. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
